During 2015, the responsibility for the IT equipment at approved MOT Garages or Vehicle Testing Stations (VTS) will move from the DVSA and Atos, to the Garages, VTS’s and Authorised Examiners.

This means that VTS’s approved for performing MOT tests will have to provide their own internet connection, computers or tablets and printers and also ensure they arrange all maintenance and repairs.
